YZF-R1

Opis

Popolnoma nova Yamaha YZF-R1.

Nova generacija R1 je prispela. Opremljena z MotoGP YZR-M1 tehnologijo. Z novim pogonskim agregatom in neenakomernim razporedom vžiga (crossplane engine), kratko medosovinsko razdaljo ter visokonapredno elektroniko, to motorno kolo ponuja popolnoma novo izkušnjo vožnje.

Centralni upravljalni sistem (6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit) v vsakem trenutku nadzira gibanje okvira v 3D in nadzira trakcijo, bočne zdrse, dvigovanje prednjega kolesa, zaviranje ter zdrse zadnjega kolesa. Yamaha R1. Mi smo eno.

Lightweight titanium exhaust and midship muffler

For peak power and strong linear torque, the new crossplane engine is equipped with a lightweight 4-2-1 exhaust system. A servomotor controlled exhaust valve adjusts gas flow for enhanced response and stronger engine output, while the compact mid ship muffler contributes towards mass centralization and emits a unique growl.

Compact Deltabox chassis

The all-new aluminium Deltabox frame features a long upward-truss type swingarm and magnesium rear frame, underlining the R1's strong M1 racebike heritage. The short 1,405mm wheelbase chassis and the R1's low wet weight of just 199kg give the R1 a high level of agility and responsiveness for outstanding race and track performance.

High volume air intake

For optimal intake efficiency a YZR-M1-type central air inlet feeds a large capacity 10.5 litre airbox. Fresh air is force fed into the electronically activated Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-I) funnels that adjust their length to match engine rpm for optimum power characteristics, to give high levels of useable performance.

ABS with Unified Brake System

The new R1's dual 320mm front discs and monoblock calipers - as well as the 220mm rear disc - are equipped with a sophisticated banking sensitive ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) as well as Yamaha's Unified Brake System that enable the rider to achieve high levels of controllability in different circuit or road situations.

High-compression cylinder head and lightweight internals

To achieve optimal performance the new engine uses a high compression 13:1 cylinder head featuring a pent roof combustion chamber with large diameter intake and exhaust valves. And for instant response with high power and strong linear torque, the R1 is equipped with titanium con rods and forged aluminium pistons.

YZR-M1 inspired cowling

With its central forced air intake, high screen and low headlight position, the next generation R1's aerodynamic front cowl has an unmistakable M1 race bike silhouette. Compact new LED headlights are 'hidden' either side of the air intake to emphasize the race-ready look, while twin LED position lights give this new superbike a truly unique face.

3-dimensional control

Equipped with a banking angle sensitive rear wheel Slide Control System (SCS) and Traction Control System (TCS) - as well as a Front Lift Control system (LIF) in addition to a Launch Control System (LCS) and Quick Shift System (QSS) - the R1's electronic control technology enables every rider to attain their full potential on the track.

Track-developed suspension

The 43mm fully adjustable KYB forks use a large diameter 25mm front axle for a planted feel - while the carefully balanced relationship between the pivot axis, drive sprocket axis and swingarm length give stable, precise and efficient handling performance during acceleration, braking and cornering.

6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU

A highly sophisticated 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) delivers precise data on every aspect of running machine attitude to the ECU - which activates the R1's electronic control technology, including its MotoGP-derived banking angle sensitive rear wheel Slide Control System (SCS) and Traction Control System (TCS).

M1-derived 200PS crossplane engine

The next generation R1 is powered by a new 998cc crossplane 4 cylinder 4-valve engine that develops 200PS - without ram air pressurization. Derived from our winning YZR-M1 MotoGP bike, its newly designed crossplane crankshaft gives an uneven 270° - 180° - 90° - 180° firing sequence for high levels of linear torque.

Race and track ready

The new R1 is a track-focused machine with YZR-M1 DNA flowing in its veins. Its high level of equipment includes lightweight cast magnesium wheels - and for an efficient riding position the 17-litre aluminium fuel tank features deep knee recesses.
